Travel Information

Well-behaved dogs or cats are welcome to come along for the trip. A fee per hire applies. This is to cover additional cleaning processes that we undertake. For more information on bringing a pet please see ourguidance here.

A maximum of two child restraints can be fitted to this camper. A child seat (from birth until approximately four years) or booster seat (for children aged between four and seven years) can be fitted to the forward-facing seats in the rear (where the two anchor points are positioned). Child and booster seats are an additional hire item. For more information on Child Restraints please read our guideline below: For travel between 01 April 2025 until 31 March 2026

A current and full motor vehicle driver’s licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection. If your license is in a language other than English, it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver’s licence. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit. This must be sighted along with your licence in the branch at pick-up, before we can release the vehicle.

The Road User Charge Recovery Fee is payable on diesel vehicles upon vehicle return. The fee will be calculated and collected on return of the campervan based on the kilometres travelled during the hire.

Supplied in the camper you will find linen and bedding, kitchen essentials including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils plus all the general living gear you’ll need. Don’t forget to pack soft bags instead of a suitcase – much easier to store in the camper!

We recommend you plug into 240 volt power on your first night and then every two or so days for the house battery to fully charge. The speed of the 12 volt battery drainage will depend on the climate and how often it is used. A full charge takes between 14 to 16 hours and needs to be done at a campground every two or so days.

Top-up the fresh water and empty the waste water every one to two days. Empty the porta potti as needed. The waste water tank and porta potti must be emptied at an authorised dump station. If you are staying in a Holiday Park, you will have access to one there. Otherwise, use the thl Roadtrip App to search for the closest one. Top-up and empty at every opportunity and you won’t have to worry about a thing!

Lastly, always remember, have your keys with you when you are outside the camper.
